When was the last time I bought a Vuitton bag? Hmm, never. (Does a pre-loved LV globe shopper tote counts?) The last time I stole something from my sister’s bag collection: Not long ago. No doubt Louis Vuitton is ‘in our blood’, (board the train in the morning and you’ll know what I mean) the perception that luxury equals to Louis Vuitton monograms, we need to get pass that. There is so much more to Louis Vuitton than just the logo. (Tell that and you’ll offend my aunt and gay cousins)

I fell in LVoe (yes, let’s fall in love with a bag for a change) with the taiga two-way bag.A briefcase and bagpack all in one, a bag perfect for the indecisive. I carrassed that bag erlier today and damn it feels so good!

The taiga was introduced in ’93 and was only available in 2 shades of Grizzli and Grey-- With the introduction of new colours this spring, deep dark cobalt blue, cool steel and natural authentic beige. The question is, how much is it? I wouldn’t want to know so I can keep on dreaming.

UNIQLO PURCHASES.

Previously during 313@somerset UNIQLO store opening, I got for myself a few cardigans and pullovers that I love so much! No, this is not an advertorial. If you don’t have any UNIQLO in your closet, you wouldn’t know what all the hype is all about. I’ve never come across a clothing company so dedicated to its customer and its clothes like UNIQLO. Very affordable and you get what you paid for in terms of quality. If UNIQLO maintain its price point and quality, I would be shopping there all my life, I swear.

33 THIRTY THREE- PARAGON STORE OPENING.

The same people who made ANTEPRIMA (Ahh, the haunting nostalgia when Izumi Ogino threw a marker and heels to my face backstage.) possible for Singapore recently launched its new multi-label shoe store at Paragon.

The inspiration behind the name ‘33 thirty three’ -- “With G-Star Raw Footwear making its debut with a dominant collection, influences were drawn from the design of the apparel line where the imprints of “ Raw Denim 3301” or “ 3301” appears consistently. This code is unique to G-Star as the RAW denim wash code for part of its core denim collection and it will be one hip code to remember.“

Expect designer footwear by Johnny Triattalou (Double Entity), Domenico Di Liddo (Police 883), G-Star Raw and Iceberg. 33 thirthy three is located at Paragon, 03-10/11.

BEAR LAGERFELD.

While i will measure success with the number of Tods loafers i have, Uncle Karl decide to do so by immortalizing himself as a bear. The Karl Bear, a collaboration of Karl Lagerfeld and German stuffed toy maker Steiff has made it's way to Singapore. Of the 2,500 produced, only 2 Karl Bears are available for the Singapore buyers. Made of black silk cravat and Swarowski crystals, it cost SGD 2498 a pop. Like any other 'innovative' goods by Uncle Karl, it pretty much doesn't make sense for the ordinary people- Like me.

The Karl Bears are available exclusively at Tanglin Mall, one of which are being displayed in Millenia Walk.
