BEAR LAGERFELD.

While i will measure success with the number of Tods loafers i have, Uncle Karl decide to do so by immortalizing himself as a bear. The Karl Bear, a collaboration of Karl Lagerfeld and German stuffed toy maker Steiff has made it's way to Singapore. Of the 2,500 produced, only 2 Karl Bears are available for the Singapore buyers. Made of black silk cravat and Swarowski crystals, it cost SGD 2498 a pop. Like any other 'innovative' goods by Uncle Karl, it pretty much doesn't make sense for the ordinary people- Like me.

The Karl Bears are available exclusively at Tanglin Mall, one of which are being displayed in Millenia Walk.

God, as we mourn the sudden death of Sashimi The Bisexual Goldfish, show us the immense power of Your goodness and strengthen our belief that he/she has entered into Your Presence.

I didn't even had the chance to blog about how i got Sashimi! Now, Sashimi left us for a better place where Lady Gaga is God and Anna Wintour is stepmom to everybody.I remembered the first time i got Sashimi on a farm, she cost only two bucks but she looks like a tiny gem. Sashimi was the most famous goldfish i've ever had. Everyone on Facebook was talking about how cute Sashimi was. We will never be able to identify Sashimi's sexual orientation but one thing for sure, Sashimi will not be forgotten.

DOUBLE-BREASTED JACKET.

In every post which suggest a certain guidelines to follow, just remember, it is not an obligation but it is essential. However you might want to take this point into considerations because people, like The Sart for example, take their bespoke suit seriously and you never know when these tips might come in handy!

A classic double-breasted suit jackets (the ones that comes in suit;jacket and pants), the lapel should always be a peak lapel to compliment the shoulders.Without it, probably the suit will gives a boxy silhouette. As for buttons, the standard two rows of three buttons with one on the inside.If the size of lapels are smaller, chances are, you will have more buttons.

As suggested, a suit should at least be tailored at the waist but, with double-breasted suit, it should be tailored to the torso. It creates a prominent shoulders by cutting into the waistline.Highly recommended for man of small build.

SASHIMI PLAY BALL!

I really need to tone down the obsession with Sashimi. You know, just in case it floats on the surface when i wake up one morning. I taught Sashimi to play ball today with the left-over beads from my craft project. At one point, she really hit the 'ball' with her tail! No, I'm not making things up.That, or she is trying to escape for oxygen.

Sashimi is trying to settle down, accepting the fact that he/she is the haute-est Ranchu ever. I mean how many Goldfish get it's food served on a Tods's business card? Hah, no, i had to crush his/her food (with a disposable shaver cover!) because its too huge for her mouth. Mariah, you better watch out for there is a new diva in town. Soon, she only swim in Avien water.

NAFA, DEPARTMENT OF FASHION STUDIES, DIPLOMA GRADUATION SHOW.

On graduating, felicitations from me to all the class of 09! I was overjoyed to see friends and acquaintances present their work, their hard work. All three years of perfecting skills and learning gone in a matter of minutes!

There was considerable diversity in the work presented, it has a theme but not too literal or direct. In fact, there was only one collection showing weakness whereby it lacks direction and cohesion.

My two favorite ( being something that i would wear) was Turning Point by Elvin Ooi and Into The Future by Michelle Yee. Imo, i think those two collection are current and will fit well with what i've seen in the industry at the moment. I'm sure they will have a wider reach of consumers who would buy the individual pieces if not the whole outfit. The other two collection that caught my attention was Erika's and Zima's. I felt that both of their collection was in a different league from the rest, sportswear and something ethnic.

Also, it wasn't as disappointing as many predicted it to be. ( You guys should not take the window display along the campus as reference to Nafa's talent! ) It was not even bad to begin with and i was really impressed!

WELCOME SASHIMI!

Me and Ridhwan got a pet Ranchu! It's so tiny (the size of 2 nickels), i wanna squeeze till its eye pop out and flush it down the toilet! I've had goldfish in the past but this one is special, Sashimi is bisexual and reads VOGUE. If it doesn't float motionlessly tomorrow morning, I'm gonna teach Sashimi to swim through hoops and dance to Gaga.
