What are the sites you read religiously ?

I like to exercise my fingers on Google search engine, anything will do actually but, ONTD_ FF community and FAIL Blog, are my favorite site at the moment. I also try to squeeze an episode or two of the Simpsons from Watch The Simpson Online before bedtime (hey, at least its not porn! ) and recently, i've been working out to Jorge Cruise twelve seconds sequence workouts from his YouTube Channel. Other than that i do the regular Hotmail,Facebook, Streetstyle blogs (Jak & Jil, The Sartorialist, Wayne Tippette) , Blogspots (Sonny Groo, Julia Frakes, Palayo Diaz, Tavi, Red Carpet Fashion Awards) and etc.

I would like to know your favorite colour and why.

I've never really go obsessed with a particular colour , instead i could tell you the colours i don't like- bright yellow, neon hues and green. As for colours for clothing, i like navy blue, black, white, grey and pastels in any shades. If i have to choose, i'd say blue and black, they are my favourite power rangers.

If i really have the time and money, i want to breed dogs! Anything that involves the fashion industry will do also. I really want to be an editor of a magazine but i never speak of it before. I think it is really ambitious. For now, i'll settle for a fashion journalist / designer/stylist .

How would you explain your style?

Honestly, my wardrobe changes accordingly, it depends on the economy. Bad economy means less allowance.I really like the Sartorial elegance of a suit but it is not affordable and not age-appropriate. I think i should embrace my youth and 'mature-dressing' can come later in the late twenties. The climate is also such a major influence in my style, i can't wear what i want, even the basic casual dressing is too warm for Singapore's weather. I guess 'my style' evolve with my surrounding and i can express it better when i'm in New york or Paris.Heh.

Haters to the left, Miley cyrus, closet fans and lovers listen. I know, I'm so 'uncool' because i like the Jonai and you're everything because Gaga in Margiela and Rihanna in Balmain are so IN. Okay,actually i dont really care about Joe and the fat one but, Nick (the one with lesser body hair) is like my replacement for Britney Spears at the moment. That's how bad I'm trying to convince myself that curls are gorgeous.

You see, i was 'bless' with curls and i'm trying very very very hard to embrace my 'natural beauty'. So here's a picture of my curls.Opinions?

With the growing belly attached to my body,i can't help but to notice it.No matter what Uncle Karl might say of her, looking like Beth Ditto was never a good thing unless, you want to wear stretchable Herve ledger dress your entire life. Being rich has its perks, you can afford to run on a treadmill while listening to Gaga or you can simply use one of those jacket as a dumbbell. Working out in the gym will be so fulfilling with those studded jacket.Antonin Trons are the new Lifting straps!

Anyway, Dr.Oz called and he wants to tell you this- the waist circumference of your belly (when sucked in) should not exceed one-half of your body length.An ideal for women is 32.5" or less and 37" for mens. So if you look in the mirror and realized that the pregnancy cardigan can't hide your permanent pregnancy, maybe it is time to start wearing a large.Extra large.

Omentem fat are part of your belly fat which is hidden under the muscle of our bellies. It can't be pinch, ( I say pinch, not grab) if you can pinch it,it is probably not. The function of the omentum is to provide nutrients for the belly throughtout the day and too much of visceral fat can cause poisoning to the liver.It overloads chemical up the veins which can cause diabetes. The fat also squeezes your kidney, increasing blood pressure which can cause heart problems.

This is guranteed to stripped an average of 15 years of your life.That is why i recommend you this. Best part,it really works!

A DAY IN THE MOTHERSHIP.

This post is dedicated to The Vogueite.

As if it’s not funny enough for us to be introduced via chatroom, his cybername was VOGUE and mine was PRORSUM. We were still in high school, probably still wearing Nike high-cuts, doing push-ups before recess and swear by reading STYLE: magazine daily during silent reading session. Both of us were into fashion but we didn’t’ know much back then. Fashion was like an escape from manhood.

How touching.

Anyway, I met up with him the other day with the reliable photographer, Ridhwan (thank you so much!) for some impromptu shoot. Despite the weather being unpredictably f-up, the shoot went pretty well and the result was awesome despite not having much equipment and natural lighting. The concept was very literal and direct, to emphasize on the shoulder piece he designed, made up of pre-loved jeans. The garment was awesome, very conceptual.

(I would gladly wear your design for the Gareth Pugh show next month)

DR.MARTENS

The ‘conventional’ (or trendiest for some) ways of wearing Doc Marts would of course be with leggings or jeans. I don’t (and can’t) wear leggings and skinnies make my thigh looks like a twelve-incher in a fitted condom- or at least I thought so. The said dilemma (oh so drama) is in need of a solution.

So I won a pair of eight-eye in bark and I initially thought of giving it away, before I fall back on my words. That was before the recession and I’m sure all of us weren’t thinking straight when our allowances were cut down! I mean shouldn’t everyone be worried the fact that the economy isn’t doing well? I was devastated. How do I get me some moolah to watch Zefron in High School Musical 3?!!!

We’re getting out of topic here. So anyway, I choose to keep them under my bed and hoping the ingenious would pop up soon and there came my knights in Lanvin high-tops and fluffy bow tie, Lucas Ossendrijver and Papa Elbaz. Lanvin’s fall 2009 collection, which showed the pairing of similar hues for boots, socks and pants .I’m inspired and I think I’m ready to use my boots that I won without having to write-in for a free one.

Anyway, do you remember Mckenzie? He became very suicidal after we brought Marc, the white macbook home. He pierce a thumb-drive through his hard-drive and died.

Paris Je T'aime

Did you guys catch The Devils Wear Prada yesterday? Oh busy writing for freebies I see. Okay that was straight up nasty. I vow not to mention anyone in pregnancy cardigan ever again.
I used to envision a dozen lip-smacking macaroons on my desk overlooking the atelier across my apartment while reading VOGUE. I’m anticipating walking across the Jardin des Tuileries in my sharpest suit. My vision kept going on and on, I was indeed very ambitious.

The closest I will ever get a taste of Paris is a bite at these Macaroons. I was craving for Macaroons since watching the Marc Jacobs-Louis Vuitton documentary. It wasn’t easy looking for these macaroons in Singapore. We have McDonalds and TrimSpa at every corner but not macaroons. Why!

When I got hold of some, it has a funny taste and each macaroon have different texture. If I knew it would taste like plasticine, I would just swallow a tub of my niece’s play-doh .it was not what I imagine it to be at all! Which brings us to this: what if the ideal or ‘dream’ that you hope for does not live up to you expectations?

I've been contemplating on life's issues. Afraid to make (bad) decisions, i feigned sleep. I want to submerge from hiatus and stand on my own two feet. I can't be serving second chances only to be disappointed repeatedly, when I myself need that second chance. I should be doing this a long time ago, there is no hesitation in success.You know you're doing the right thing when there's no more tears to cry.

OSN est sur la cession de Mykromag cette semaine, pour l'exposition Lacroix.
Okay,I’ll stop fooling around. Sonny had given us the task of visiting the museum while he lodge in the hills of Spain, feeding unicorns, milking cows and whatnot. (There’s a possibility that he might be chasing mountain goats for a new coat too. Kidding.)

I had my first museum tour in ages. It will probably be my last. While the air-conditioning and filling up the survey form were the highlight, the exhibition was gloomy. For each sentence I have to read, it was like searching for Alek Wek in a depressingly dark room. Am I the only one disappointed? The illustrations were awesome but I would not even discuss the costume display.

When i showed my mom a picture of Karl, a good friend of mine at Chanel pre-fall 09 show, she mistook him for ...

Count Dracula. Does he really? That gave me an idea of a segment i can do on on OSN.You know how (most) bloggers try to sound almighty, squeezing a name (or two) of french people or designers even models and then you go like pi-vo-va-ro-va-ra-va who? Worst, blogs with too many sponsored entry ( The New Paper FastAds is that chu?) and they will end the post with "I would die to have those louboutins" or something similar to that. So if i smack a pair of Gabin pumps to your face,would you dig your own grave?

From the paragraph above,it concludes that i have not taken my medications. Back to idea- Thats when you will skip the post and go to the entry with Britney Spears. It's Britney bitch. Everyone knows Britney.If you don't, you must learn this: Britney Spears does shave and Karl, the person i mentioned earlier is the art director of Juicy Couture. See, you've learnt something new. Bravo.

I hope through this newly introduced segment called A Designer A Day we can all learn something.

In true Marni fashion, the collection set a new pragmatic new mood with it's investment dressing. The then mismatched easthetic of Lucinda Chambers was well matched this season.

More classy than the usual Marni, we saw the adjustment of length to it piecesnot too old, perhaps for someone in the late twenties,Very luxurious,young and fresh, Marni has long-life expectancy as a collection this season.
